Commercial/Industrial Roller Shutters

We have been supplying, installing and repairing roller shutters since we first opened, in 1981.

On industrial and commercial applications, we can offer a very heavy duty, high security roller shutter. They are galvanised as standard, but are also available in a variety of finishes, to suit the application, aswell as insulated and fire-rated rollers/doors.

All heavy duty shutters are made to measure, as standard, and available up to 6m wide and 5m high.

Finishes available:

Galvanised only
- The most economical solution
- Where security is the only concern
Plastisol coated
- A good range of colours available
- Gives a very hard wearing, maintenance free surface
- Gives a ‘leather-grain’ effect
Powder coated
- A larger range of colours available - you can even specifiy the exact RAL code, to match existing colour schemes
- Slightly more expensive than the plastisol

Vision Effects

Normally, the roller shutters are solid. There are however, several options when a portion of vision through the shutter is required. E.g. passing customers can still view products in a shop window, when it is closed, through the shutter.

Options:

Perforated laths: Multiple small holes through each lath allows minimal vision and light through. You may wish to only use a certain amount of laths` perforated, or the whole shutter. It is better to see through from a distance.
Brick-form: Greater visibility here – Larger rectangular or oval cutouts in the laths, offering either 20% or 33% vision. Normally, only a section of the roller.

Industrial Sectional Doors

Often, many industrial units and lockups have sectional doors fitted. Other than having tracks that protrude into the premises (above), they are often a preferred, due to their rigidity and thermal insulating properties, aswell as a full weather seal all round.

Slightly more expensive normally, and also available in manual or electric operation, aswell as a range of finishes and window options, if needed.
