Gates & Automation - Types of Automation
The type of gate automation often depends on the way your gate/s open: whether it is sliding, opening in or out, angle of opening and way the gate/s are hinged in relation to the pillar or post.
A generic overview of the different types is detailed below.
We mainly use the mechanical 230v systems, which are more than suitable for heavy usage domestic applications, but there is the hydraulic range and 24v systems which are also used in particular applications. In particular, the 24v systems are becoming more popular, due to their touch-sensitive safety sensing, especially with the Safety Force regulation EN 12978.
All types are just as strong as each other, and just as reliable. Each has its own merits however, purely on the type of installation.
